Now push through a law in congress that a CCL from any state is valid in any other state or municipality. Just like your driver’s license!
I can drive in any state on my Ohio Driver’s License, but can not carry in many other states even though I have a valid license to do so in Ohio.
Driving is not a Constitutional Right. The right to bear arms most certainly is.
Just like your drivers license!

I used to ‘like’ the ‘NY Demands all other states to recognize their same sex Marriage licenses while ignoring carry permits from other states’.
“Driving is not a Constitutional Right.”
It should be, because to tell someone they can’t drive is to deprive them of their freedom of movement in a real and significant way. In most of the country, it limits their employment opportunities.
The greentards have been trying to “get Americans out of their cars” since the sixties, and I’d like to see a constitutional right to drive enumerated in the constitution. If for no better reason, just to give the greentards a good, painful poke in the eye.
Even if individual jurisdictions and even states could counter with local restrictions, Federal reciprocity of CCLs would be YUGE !
By ballot or by bullet !!
Always makes me think ... how can these gun restriction people fail to understand the meaning of ‘SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.’ The phrase closes the discussion and our framers of the Constitution meant just that.
