COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley was overwhelmingly confirmed as the next United States ambassador to the United Nations in a Senate vote.
In a final tally, Haley received a 96-4 vote to confirm her as the 29th US ambassador, taking over for Ambassador Samantha Power -- an Obama administration appointee.

You beat me by 12 seconds.
Lousy pick, so of course she easily got passed.
Well, I am from South Carolina and voted for her twice.
Who takes over in SC?
Uniparty darling, groomed to be another ineligible Presidential candidate.
Democratic Sens. Chris Coons (Del.), Martin Heinrich (N.M.), Tom Udall (N.M.) and Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.) voted against her.
In my dreams she is our last UN ambassador. And not because we go away. Au contraire.
UN ambassador? Ugh. No thanks. Get rid of the UN.
The head clown, Chuck Schumer and his fellow Democrats are unfair to the nominees, and people like me who expect a through and quick vetting of Cabinet candidates like that enjoyed by Pres. Obama’s nominees. Only 4 Cabinet officials have been confirmed thus far and full Senate voting has occurred late in the day so we the people can not see the swearing in ceremonies. Nicki Haley is my Governor and I think the delaying tactics of the Democrats are shameful..
I know, but the Trumpers will ALWAYS remember that she was once a #Nevertrumper, so she’d best not imagine that any of us will EVER vote for her.
I wonder if Nikki is in on the plan.
Knowing Trump...Nikki is in the know.
And she approves of the death of the UN.
On another thread we have a freeper touting her for President, despite the fact that she is not a natural born citizen and is ineligible.
What’s the nic of this braindead moron and please ping me to that thread.
Many thanks; off to read that post. ;^)
