A majority, 52 percent, identify as "pro-choice," according to  a new pollconducted by Marist College and sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. But an even larger majority, 83 percent oppose subsidizing international abortion.

The polling comes on the heels of President Trump's decision to reinstate the Mexico City policy. That executive order prohibits taxpayer dollars from funding any organization working to provide abortion abroad.

I oppose the HIV medication, the ZEKA serums, the birth control, everything!!!! No international government should get our tax money. We can’t afford it. We have 20 trillion in debt. Like Dave Ramsey says, “time to cut frivolous items yesterday”. Rice and beans for America for a very long time. We are a really stupid country.

I don’t even want to pay for American abortions, much less foreign ones.

I oppose the taxpayer paying for ANY abortions.

I hate abortion, but am leery about outlawing it. HOWEVER, I don’t wish to pay for someone to have one.

Your choice???? YOUR wallet!

That’s what nationalism means.

Individuals are free to give to charity. It should never be coerced by the government.

Charity is personal and produces a sense of humility and gratitude. Welfare is impersonal and produces a sense of entitlement and greediness.

Communists hate churches for many reasons; one is because they do not want personal charity to exist.

If we stopped giving all this money to foreign governments then I would be ok with charity not be tax deducted. However, we need to cut our budget down to about 15 percent for the next 10 years at least. I don’t think Americans have any clue about how close to the edge we are.
