WOW!!! I’m glad I’m not there right now. I’m not going back until April.
The Berliners are an extra kind of German. There is a powerful group that LOVE suffering and guilt. Luckily I’ve never met them. Most everyone I know there has been a load of fun (as fun as German’s can have ;-)) and do not appreciate what Merkel has done. BUT, it is illegal for them to even speak out.
I have never known a jelly donut to have a sense of humor.
