a) Withdrawal from United States Government property. The United Nations (including any organ, specialized agency, commission or other formally affiliated body of the United Nations) may not occupy or use any property or facility of the United States Government.
Move it to Pyongyang
Putting the Trump name on the building would be the worse course of action possible.
Talk about displaying arrogant conflict of interest! Putting the Trump name on the building would be the worse course of action possible.
Yes. Cut funding but do not withdraw. Start new international coalition of nations protecting human rights... invite Israel and Britain as permanent members, invite Russia on a probationary membership and others who should work towards goals of western independent protection thinking
Unfinished business from the Reagan administration ... he never had a full GOP Congress. Trump does. No excuses.
The UN building needs to be demoed since a remodel would be about a billion dollars. They have not taken care of it like they should and is in terrible condition.
I’m actually not sure if I want the U.S. to withdraw from the United Nations. Instead, I’d like to see this:
We veto anything and everything that goes against our interests, without hesitation and without apology.
We reduce our funding to something more reasonable, such as an amount proportionate to our share of the world’s population.
We use the vote tally in the General Assembly as a measure of which nations support us and which ones don’t, and base our relations accordingly.
We refuse to participate in any “peacekeeping” operations unless they are under the command of the United States and operate under our own rules of engagement.
We establish a separate organization of like-minded nations (Britain, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Australia, etc.) to actually promote our interests. In time, this new organization would become a powerful means of facilitating the dominance of the “good guys” on the world stage, while the UN swirls down towards irrelevance.
And eventually, the UN just dies off, like the League of Nations did before it.
Uhhhhhhhh, ok.
