These Clintons need to be prosecuted if for no other reason than to shut the mouths of the people who support them once and for all.

Actually, your suggestion was the FIRST time I saw a reason not to prosecute her. It goes with the paradigm "When your enemy is busy shooting themselves in the foot, why interrupt them?".
As related in the other posts, we believe that she is a toothless tiger with literally no way to rebound. If she is prosecuted and, thus, removed from the political debate, then these bozos will latch onto someone else who may be more of a threat. Why not let them waste their time?
