I remember when interests rates were 18%, to borrow or put into the bank. We got a loan for a home and thought we were LUCKY to get it at 15%.

We OUGHT to remember the past (history) as it tells us who we are and why we are that way. Whining is for wimps.

The interest rates in the early 80s were high because the lenders were gouging baby boomers. That’s the short version.

I like that Trump is going after the fed reserve. It’s a private company dictating a country’s economy and they don’t work for the American people.
