I agree....I’d have to up my standards a bit.
1. The Supreme Court ruled* that the recess must be at least ten days in order to permit appointments, which this current Senate certainly would not entertain, especially because all Trump's appointees will be confirmed within the next week or so anyway.
2. Recess appointments have a limited shelf-life of a year--they are not permanent. Trump won't settle for that loaf-slice.
3. Such a capitulation to the Democrat stalling would be absolutely unacceptable both to Trump and the Senate Republicans, especially here at the very beginning.
*My memory is that that was the Cleveland case, but I'm probably misremembering.
