Does anyone know details on the desk President Trump chose to use? What is the history of it and which Presidents have used it? Is it the same one Obama used?
It’s the resolute desk. Yes Obama used it.
It was a gift from Queen Victoria to President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1880 and was built from the English oak timbers of the British Arctic exploration ship Resolute.
