I did not know they had been friends but I knew there must be more to Donald Trump than met the eye if Dr. Carson supported him.
I vividly remember the devastation of our oldest son at age 6, waking up the morning after Clinton’s re-election and fully expecting positive news. “But, Mom, we prayed!” This same son - now a young father himself - was a staunch supporter for Dr. Carson and jumped on the Trump train when Ben did, campaigning and working so hard to educate others. What a blessing to receive a jubilant text from him in the wee hours after the election: “He did it! President Trump!”
