She was the special agent in charge of the Denver district - she should not be a USSS let alone in the admin of a large district like Denver.
There are two segments on USSS : one protects the other having to do with finance- money laudering/ counterfeit/ etc. She no doubt was near the Denver Mint. Am betting is part of the financial segment and should have just kept her mouth shut.
