There were hundreds of thousands of people, mostly young. It was very windy near the Washington Monument where I was during the rally. I will have to watch the broadcast later to actually understand what the speakers were saying. Their sound system needs an upgrade or maybe the wind affected it. At any rate there was great loud cheering when speakers were introduced.
everyone was in good spirits. During the actual March, Constitution Ave was packed all the way across. I don't think that I have ever voluntarily been in such a densely packed crowd for such a long time before. Young people were singing and chanting for life....very uplifting.
I walked over to where I had taken a picture of the White House from the ellipse after the pre-inauguration concert and took another picture. Two wonderful events.
