How would you like to be in that woman’s shoes? I bet she’s quietly terrified. Got to seem strong, got to appear to have solidified the “special relationship,” but still needing to mollify the people back home who are just as at each others’ throats as we have been here. If she gets back on that RAF plane without a major gaffe, it will be a victory.
But, if she’d just take a breath and calm down, she’d realize Trump is an Anglophile and wants to rebuild the relationship. The hard part’s already done without her lifting a finger.
They’re all intimidated by Farage, but won’t admit it. That’s why they’re all tied up in knots.
