At work I only have a minute here and there to peek at FR and Drudge during the day. In the old days, BT, (before Trump) I had a good grasp by the end of the day and knew what to go read more thoroughly. Now? Ppffttt...
You guys it’s only been A WEEK since the inauguration. Look at what’s taken place. How many years has the GOP been promising/threatening to reduce budget and involvement in UN? To end fed $ for sanctuary cities? On and on...promises. But, without REAL leadership, they faltered. Now, they are watching a real guy take ACTION. I expect they’re in a kind of numb shock.
And then...I read about those who openly fantasize about assassination. As a solution to their distorted and false beliefs of this president. This is a pretty uncomfortable and alien world that promotes this sort of thought.
Even though I believe the previous president was unspeakably wrong in his policies, ideology and views and I wanted him gone, I never hoped he would be assassinated. Not because I am virtuous, but for the harm it would cause our nation. It would have been an awful thing for us.
