He and eric often spent summers with their grandfather. He was a contractor. The could work for him but couldn’t work for the unions in NY
Yes both boys learned their mothers native language.

I did not know he was a contractor. That is very cool. I was very close to my grandpa. I remember how important that relationship was to me. He died when I was 15 and I am 53, still think of him often.
