I found the above from a google search on “Brendan” and “IWW” (in one of the videos someone yelled “they shot Brendan”).
Not sure if it is the same guy, this article is from Baltimore and only two years old.
But - a search of this guys name, Brendan Camiel put him in highschool in 1999 as a 17-year old in Towson, MD. So it could be him - he would be 34 now. The high school article was about writing in the AP classes that were getting honors.
Regarding writing: “’You have to be bold and sensitive and honest,’ said Brendan Camiel, 17, of Towson.”
I found the following on the net - the video with the person saying “They shot Brendan” - they obviously were mistaken. (Or Brendan is his stage name for riots).
From the net:
“The victim in the Friday night shooting is recovering and breathing on his own, according to hospital officials. He was identified by the Times as longtime activist and Industrial Workers of the World union member Josh Dukes.”
The article said the shooter had contacted Milo prior to the event, and wanted Milo to replace a MAGA hat that had been taken in a previous(?) protest, and for Milo to sign it.
Two things seem odd. One - to expect Milo to have a MAGA hat to give to him. Two - to be armed and expect to just walk into a school (illegal with gun) and meet with Milo. I’m probably just paranoid, but that doesn’t square with my thought process. If I was Milo I would want this looked into a bit more.
OR - the Facebook message is a fake.
Or - it is all true and the guy is a Milo fan, and thank goodness he had a gun to defend himself with.
