No, her mother and her sister became the bigly successful musical act, The Judd’s. Ashley was left out in the cold and barely knew them growing up, then ran away or something and went and became an actress. Or some sheeit.

I met her when she would have been about 12- 13 in a dance hall/ bar in N. Florida (1980-81). She was all alone watching her mother and sister. A local bouncer was her protection. Who knows what might have happened to her as a young teen. It couldn't have ben fun growing up like that.

It's no excuse for her actions and attitude but probably a huge contributing factor in her life.
