I’m going to be critical of Spicer, here. I watched that presser, he was hesitant, clearly reading his statement. His voice is high pitched, he was dwarfed by the podium. Why, again, was he deemed to be a good fit for this very important role? I can think of numerous others who would have gotten the point across clearly, directly and without constantly pausing to read his notes.
By the way, he was dwarfed by the lectern...he was standing on "the podium".
Spicer does not impress me with his delivery and gravitas. Laura would have been better. But I guess he’ll be OK as he grows into the job.
