WASHINGTON In his first executive order, President Trump on Friday directed government agencies to scale back as many aspects of the Affordable Care Act as possible, moving within hours of being sworn in to fulfill his pledge to eviscerate Barack Obamas signature health care law.
The one-page order, which Mr. Trump signed in a hastily arranged Oval Office ceremony shortly before departing for the inaugural balls, gave no specifics about which aspects of the law it was targeting. But its broad language gave federal agencies wide latitude to change, delay or waive provisions of the law that they deemed overly costly for insurers, drug makers, doctors, patients or states, suggesting that it could have wide-ranging impact, and essentially allowing the dismantling of the law to begin even before Congress moves to repeal it.

“President Trumps ACA executive order appears to target Obamacare mandate”
Millions of us from the vanishing middle-class let out a might roar of approval!
We also look forward to being able to buy policies that fit our needs and that we can afford, instead of the one-size-fits-all obamacare policy that covers everything under the sun for everybody, and therefore is affordable to no one except Medicaid recipients and those receiving “subsidies” paid by middle-class taxpayers who not only can’t afford insurance ourselves but are also forced to pay for insurance for millions of deadbeats and illegal aliens!
Hopefully I don't have to face any fine from IRS for not buying any health insurance for last 2 years
Last communication from my doctor:
Most men die with Prostate Cancer rather than from it.
With FR down, I made the mistake of visiting “The Hill” yesterday.
One of the most oft used line was “SEEEEE? He said he’d repeal it the first day! He LIED!!!”
We’ll find out what the effects of this E.O. look like in a few weeks or months. The description of this Executive Order seems purposely ambiguous.
This is even before “Day One” (Monday, per an earlier Trump comment). I knew he wouldn’t wait.
“Doctor, Compadre, Adios.”

true but it’s too bad none of the subordinates will pay any attention. at least before they are fired.
That is excellent! Thank you, President Trump!!!
I went to the Post Office on the 19th and what do I find? An intimidating letter from the IRS urging me to get insurance or have to pay the fine/tax/penalty/whatever the f they're calling it. The last day of Jugear's term. LOLOL
B!*w me, IRS. B!*w me, Jugears!
Giggling. I wanna see you scrawl “B!*w Me!” that across their extortion letter and send it back to them. Make sure you cc Pelosi she can “see what’s in it.”
I was thinking of doing just that!
They couldn’t ding me for the $695 anyway because, even though I have to file a tax return on my small investment fund, I don’t pay any taxes and there is no withholding to take the tax/fine/penalty/fee/whateveryoucallit from besides.
I’ll put MAGA at the bottom of it too. lol
Oh please oh please oh please......
I need to be able to use my HSA to pay premiums if not on an employer-sponsored plan.
Please tell me I can buy short term individual health insurance that doesn’t meet all the Obamacare requirements without getting fined.
I just want the individual mandate repealed so I can leave my job!
I quit filing several years ago. No letters yet.
if he relieves the American people of the fine, I that will be a good start.
Brilliant move: he can start dismantling it now even before Congress proposes an alternative, buying time while still getting things done. One thing Trump has always been good at since his early real estate days is working system loopholes; he’s putting that skill to good use here.
Awful monthly payments and stratospheric deductibles something HAD to happen . Thanks Pres. “T” its a start!
