WASHINGTON (AP) — On the night in 2008 when Barack Obama was elected the country's first black president, many black Americans wept. Eight years later, they weep again for the end of an era some thought they would never live to see — and for the uncertain future they face without him.
In Obama, many African-Americans felt they had a leader who celebrated their culture and confronted their concerns. In his wife, Michelle, they saw a national role model who epitomized style and grace with brown skin.

That is pretty much much what I am getting at. The cumulative effect all of these types of articles have no impact on me and not even for amusement.
Obama hasn't done anything for the black community. All Trump needs to do is the same he has done all his life and keep his promises and it will be hard to not notice and compare and contrast. When Trump is a success Obama is going to get even smaller. Maybe that is why they are trying so hard now with all of this BS
Crying because their freebies are endangered or crying because Trump has promised to help them get a job?

I could easily vote for a black conservative, someone like Larry Elder.
Just as the media shielded Obama for 8 long years and lied for him because of the color of his skin (his only qualification for office) and rendered the Republicans defenseless to criticize him for the same reason, a black conservative president would not only make the lying press BTFO but would also embolden our currently gutless GOP to use the Dem/commie/snowflakes' own weapon against them, the race card if the commies dare criticize a black American president.
This politically correct tyranny isn't going away any time soon, it would be great to use the same weapon against its inventors and in a far more effective way.

It was heard in Memphis when Willie Harrington won over the white candidate, Dick Hackett, "the bottom rail is the top one now". 20 years later Memphis is a hellhole and the white population has dropped from 60% to less than 30% and crime in that city is one of the highest in the country. Whites are fleeing into Fayette County East, Tipton County North, and DeSoto County, Mississippi, South. DeSoto County, Mississippi is the fastest growing county in Mississippi due to the white flight. Flight into West Memphis is like fleeing from Frasier in Memphis to Raleigh as there is no difference.
That's all Obama's presidency meant to them ... feeling good and virtuous about themselves ... and feeling superior to traditional working class Americans who cling to their guns and their religion.
