I wonder if we will see the day when the national MSM is held to account for it’s sins, and a return of journalistic integrity?

All that is really is a sense of conscience - a self-imposed discpline to report fairly and honestly, the same ethics that good parents try to instill in their children. And just like the kid who ignores that teaching and ends up in prison, so has the MSM been the cause of its own demise.

I am worried that they will have cried wolf so many times that no one will believe them and that will be when we need to believe them.

They have been bias as far back as I can remember. Heck, their misrepresentation of Communism during the Cold War was obvious (hindsight is 20-20). The Communists were indeed evil yet the media always seemed to be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I think not because bankruptcy will moot the possibilities of either happening.

If the MSM suddenly started doing their jobs, I would probably be more suspicious than ever. They always have an agenda, and trying to gain my trust will be the newest one.
