I debating on what kind of Champagne I should get to celebrate the Friday Inauguration. I refuse to get any Champagne with a cork. I’m not embarrassed to purchase one with a screw on top. The cork is always a battle.
I want it dry, but slightly sweet and not too expensive.
I have some mortars, firecrackers, and bottle rockets left over from prior July 4 parties.
I think I’ll light a few off, even though it is illegal at this time of year, to celebrate the exit of this grifter.
We’re keeping it simple with Korbel. Chilling as we speak. Already have reservations at a nice restaurant downtown. The red gown and red heels have been in my closet for months, waiting for this glorious opportunity.
Hope I have time to get my nails done.
Aaaahhhh, to have my thoughts turn to such things instead of the horror show that was the Obama presidency.
I’ve been boycotting French wine as of late (a killer for me) If LePen gets in I will be buying a couple cases of Domaine Ste Michelle Blanc de Blanc (champagne)
Here in upstate NY we have several domestics to choose from in the sparkling wine category.
I was out buying champagne on Monday for Friday and was whistling very loudly “Hail to the Chief” bwa ha ha ha
Prosecco is simply Italian sparkling wine, as "champagne" is limited to that particular region of France.
Apologies in advance if you already knew this.
I’m gonna have a White Russian.
