Donald Trump represents a much wiser administration and an act of God in being raised up.
However, we still need to look to the God side of the equation. In fact the God side is what is driving this. If it were not for the love of God that looks for a way, any way, to find a willing soul (as some may refuse no matter what God presents to them) then we’d be looking at America continuing to go to hell faster and faster in the handcart it earned. God can also seed willing souls into history. It happened in John Knox era Scotland, as a historical example close to modern times, when at one point it was said “Christians were coming down from the skies.”
Let’s allow our Hallelujah to be genuine and about the Lord who hath wrought such things.
I’m attempting to do that. Sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing (I am still a sinner yet). I happen to be close to a door that could sound a keynote to the spiritual side of what we are calling a Trump revolution, but really ought to be called a God revolution. Close, as in my song writing partner having been asked by one of the major royalty socities to furnish a song which is purposed to be voiced by a national singer. We’re hoping to meet late this week to finish out the song, which I penned initial words and music for. Heady, heady stuff, and yet I don’t dare to brag on me. I have to brag on God here.
Yes, thank God for raising up Donald Trump. Obama had America on the path to hell and Hillary would have completed the trip. With President Trump we have a chance to change the course of history. Praise God!
He sure looks like he was brought in by a stiff spiritual Wind that is bent on bringing a more godly perspective to America.
Donald isn’t even a rightist by general philosophy; he’s more a centrist. However, he also has great respect for what succeeded in America in the past, and if we want to call that another route to conservatism, I’m sure Donald would not mind.
We all, of course, have a choice whether to obey that Wind or whether to defy it. It might not always tell us what we personally would be most inclined to hear. But that is to be expected because we are all still sinners. God is forgiving too. And we all need forgiveness for some things.
And perhaps his term for the vision he got might be too humble, if that. It might fairly be called “Make America greater than ever.” This isn’t about mere turning back of clocks, because America committed errors in the past too. It’s about discerning the best we can, and applying that. The black people of America have been put upon in one manner or another since slave days, the latest manner being only a kind of bribery into dependency. Under Donald Trump they might actually see freedom. As Donald modestly put it, “What do you have to lose?” He didn’t even add “But your social shackles to the Democrats.”
