I doubt that. I remember Al Qaeda’s primary concern was how its actions effected opinion in Saudi Arabia. Their goal was to supplant the Saudi monarchy.
The Saudi royal family is large and includes members who support anti-royalist elements and probably many members who are true believers in fundamental Islam, but I believe the majority just wants to keep their privileges.

Except the Syrian rebellion was created by us doing Saudi and gulf state bidding. They are full supporters of the rebel movement. They want Assad gone. They don’t want to take his place. So that leaves one option. They want a sunni state in place of Assad.
