Those city people that indulge in free and subsidized public transportation have no clue what it is like to live rural. Energy is expensive and is being made more expensive by our utopian dreamers. Get rid of coal and petroleum and you increase electricity,heat and fuel prices. You have to drive farther to get anywhere so transportation prices are always on the rise.

This is what the DNC and Obama will never get. If someone it Rural America wants to save money and go Green this is what they might do.

* Wood Stove from with their land.
* If they want to go solar, they might go to a solar hot water panel from plans or kit and and install the system themselves as it is the most cost effective way to go.
* Passive Solar for the House? Sure either for a new home or some retrofit if it makes $-sense.
* Some Photovoltaic cells, for certain applications, again not a whole array and it is again about the Benjamin's.

What they won't go for is a bunch of Credits, arm-twisting with a loan that funds a cadre of SEIU tech's doing your install on an entire Photovoltaic array and the loan with Fannie and Freddie or some other Gov't Org.

I’m from a very rule area and I can tell you that it is a basic fact that people in rural areas don’t give a crap about green energy. They drive long-distance is and there’s no such thing as electric re-charging stations where they live. They associate electric cars with pinheaded liberals. In a lot of places it’s so cold and get so much snow that solar panels on the roof is just a recipe for continual repairs and financial hardship. If they break, just to the Hells going to fix them?
