EVERY talk radio host assisted with the “birther” Alinsky tactic that allowed him to usurp the office which he was Constitutionally ineligible to hold.
Talk radio is the problem? Ok so where was his outreach to talk radio audiences? Sure he showed up plenty of times on AA talk radio, but not popular mainstream shows like Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, Levin or even relatively amiable local shows like Simone in NYC.
I do remember Bozo mocking Limbaugh listeners during his first month in office.
So he was being cynical?
Speaking of 60 Minutes, is Steve Kroft still cheating on his wife?
Originally, talk radio was mostly liberal leaning. Anyone who grew up around NYC in the 60’s remember WMCA, Fabulous 57, the home of the Good Guys? Along with top-40 every night for a half hour Barry Gray would do a talk show on that station. He was a lib, but very articulate and his show was actually very interesting. When the station ended their music format and went all talk in 1970, it was then when Bob Grant started his show. Everyone in the business thought he would be laughed off the air within a week, a CONSERVATIVE talker in the NYC market, he wouldn’t have a chance, they said. Well his show became wildly popular, in fact Rush Limbaugh in his first book credits Bob Grant’s pioneering work as one reason for his own success.
15,000 to 20,000 showing up for Trump rallies DOES NOT equate to “unpopularity”.
The only people who wanted Trump are... the people.
He is only unpopular with the media.
Kroft and Obama don't like Hillary.
Obama is envious that the Tea Party and Talk Radio has had some success.
On the upside, Constitutional Republicanism is on the rise.
Fixed it.
He is right. We have ruined the democracy by restoring our Republic!
A prima facie statement that talk radio helped control the Demon Obama.
He’s right; talk radio is corrosive. It’s managed to corrode the corrupt monopoly enjoyed by left-wing media, and good on it for doing so.
An idiot by any other name is still an idiot. You qualify, Obama
Think it’s time to outlaw Talk Radio there Barky?
He had already bemoaned the fact that people today got their news from a variety of sources, instead of as they had in the past (from two or three networks all reporting the same news).
Yes, he actually said that.
