That’s the painting to which the photographer was referring: “The Son of Man” by René Magritte. It’s a self-portrait, and was part of a series.

I’m a fan of surrealism.
For some reason, the dream world has always struck me as the most authentic depiction of human nature, because it conveys for us timeless truths.
Which was what the now-famous Trump portrait did. A good riff off Rene Magritte.
