Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed pushed back Saturday on President-elect Donald Trump’s assessment of civil rights leader and U.S. Rep. John Lewis’ district.
In a series of tweets, Reed said: “John Lewis is an American hero & a national treasure. Period. Full stop.
“That PEOTUS Trump would attack Congressman Lewis on MLK Day weekend for “all talk…no action” when he bled to actually “Make America Great” is why far less than half the country supports him at the dawn of his presidency.”
Trump said Lewis’s district was “in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested)” in an early Saturday tweet.
Leaders throughout the metro area voiced their opinions Saturday on the controversy, including Georgia Republicans.

A scumbag who years ago walked with great man, MLK. Other scumbags walked with that great man, including Jackson and Sharpton. That doesn’t mean that they are anything today other than scumbags.

John Lewis has failed to improve the situation in his district. After 30 years in the same congressional seat and district, his claim to fame needs to be more than, "Hey, it's not as bad as Chicago".

The problem is that if you unpacked these districts, you would jeopardize Conservative Republicans in adjacent seats by dumping these moonbat, brainwashed and racist Communist voters into their districts (and tip them to the Dems). Look at FL for example where the legislature was forced to “fairly” help more Dems to office by increasing the number of moonbat voters. Giving the GOP a free hand to pack the nutters into a few seats gives the GOP more districts and makes them safer (instead, it handed roughly 5 House seats to the Dems).

I believe that the voters in his district have a really good case that he's #NotMyUSRepresentative, since we're not doing the Representative Republic thingee any more.
