The Baltics were added in 2004 to NATO.

That extension of the Treaty was a mistake as well. The Baltics are indefensible and only a nuclear conflagration could stop their absorption by Russia.

The ONLY addition to NATO from the old Warsaw Pact that I support is Poland. I believe that is the position of most Americans, given the choice.

Latvia, Bulgaria and Romania? Really? And some fools would advocate an extension to Ukraine and Georgia.

What is the US interest in pledging existential war to protect those countries?

I also support Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary, all solid Christian countries who were under the Soviet boot.

Obviously from the next Nazi Germany. Do you really think Russia ever really gave up on the thought of controlling all of Europe?
