I foresee some railroad tracks sitting in the middle of the California central valley.... and they are a dead end on both end. And never have trains on the rails, only rust.

FYI - this stretch of high speed track will be immediately used by existing passenger rail service running from Bakersfield to Sacramento/Oakland with more than 1.5 million annual riders.

don’t flame me. I am not defending the current system, just adding some facts.

I believe all long distance transportation should be 100% privatized - rail, air, and highways. No more gov’t intervention and subsidies. All Interstates should be fully privatized.
