If it didn’t have a Russian spy angle, it wasn’t the entire story. The hookers were supposedly in Leningrad.

If the Russians were behind this (who really knows) that means they were trying to sink Donald Trump and elect Hillary! No one in the media will speculate on this!
Way back in the primaries, Bush or some similar RINO probably financed this bit of op research. But it really went nowhere.
More recently, I believe it was Obama and Brennen at the CIA who worked to get this information out to the public. McCain was setup to be the fall-guy mule. And CNN and BuzzFeed were setup to be the broadcasters.
The CIA (and the FBI) didn't need to get this dossier from McCain. The dossier was already well circulated. They setup the all-to-willing McCain to be the initiator.
And they setup CNN up to take the dossier seriously and BuzzFeed to release the dossier, by putting the dossier in their briefing to Trump. By doing that, the CIA apparently convinced CNN that the dossier was being considered as serious evidence.
The dossier was circulated to the media much earlier than when John McCain got his repulsive mitts on it in December.
You minimize this point. Most likely it was Obama/Brennen/CIA that got CNN and BuzzFeed to get the dossier broadcast.
He did nothing but bad mouth Trump the entire time, even as Trump was winning and, with his coattails, helping the GOP retain the Senate.
During the entire broadcast, he sulked, and when asked anything, he couldn't bring himself to be gracious in any way, shape, or form.
Stevens is someone whose power has now been broken, and he can go crawl under a rock and die, for all I care...

At about 16:45 in it Dobbs says an Israeli newspaper is saying the US intel community approached Israel to beware Trump because of the “peegate intel report” which Israelis had mentioned to them BEFORE this smear was in the Obama briefing.
General Keene is brought in at about the 1935 mark and asks why the intel community was even putting this info anyplace.
It seems an absolutely devastating indictment of the Intel Agencies.

I saw a timeline in a thread earlier today (after I finished my timeline) and it was impossibly long and full of unrelated events. The irrelevant items made it completely unreadable for me and for anybody else who has impaired attention spans.
