Will President Obama pardon Hillary Clinton before he leaves office? A question curiously non-discussed in the media.
However, when you accept that CNNs broadcasted narratives, ie. the preferred positions of the U.S. Department of State, are generally good predictors of the political forecast, all signs point to yes.

I wouldn’t waste time on Hillary....I’d go after the Clinton Foundation and drag it through the court. More than enough evidence to dismantle it and force some people to face a judge.
Those two would throw anybody under the bus if they needed to. Without a blink or a tear.
Ought there not be a trial and a conviction before any talk of a pardon?
You have highlighted only a small portion of the pardon’s conditions. Ford also specified precise time limits. Off the top of my head, 20 January 1969 through 9 August 1974, the exact time that Nixon held the office of president.
I have often seen people on FR claim that Obama can do exactly what Ford did for Nixon, but there has almost never been a discussion of time limitations. Even if he were to limit the pardon for the time from when Hillary became SoS to 20 January 2017, the foundation is still operating, and I would presume is still in violation of federal law.
I hope he does it. It would be the last nail in her political coffin..
If these other clowns were ever called on the carpet, I wonder if they would sing like canaries, or go down without a fight?
wah she spose da did?
This has no bearing on the Obama/Clinton issue. She has not been charged with criminality, and therefore cannot be pardoned for anything. However, when Donald Trump is invested with the office at inauguration, his appointed advocate can then place the charges.
However, at that point Obama no longer has any power to grant a pardon to anybody for anything except being offended by poor social manners.
That is comforting...I would have carried in my wallet too.
Ford committed an error and we should not be bound by it.
If CNN told me it was Friday, I’d check a calendar.
I would have no problem with Obama pardoning her. It would imply guilt. Good enough for me. The foundation? Her Lieutenants? Go for it. The cooled drinkers need to know the price of not having a conscience.
Another possibility that is rarely considered is a grant of immunity.
Why does she need to be pardon? I thought she did nothing wrong? /s
She hasn’t been charged with anything so what is he going to pardon her from?
Pardons may be issued to anyone for any crime, indicted, known, or unknown.
A pardon will forever mark HRC a crooked criminal... will she accept that legacy?
BINGO!! The Clinton Crime Family Slush Fund is where ALL the scandals are!!
I really would like to see Mrs. Clinton be fined and serve time for what I see as her treasonous behavior, defalcations with government funds, and criminal negligence of handling highly sensitive national security information. Obama will never allow such charges to be placed. That is not a pardon. That is sovereignly refusing to prefer charges.
Good. Let’s hope that the pardon is granted.
Take a careful look at what a pardon does and does not do. And then think about what plan B could entail.
