Former spook John Schindler pronounced on Twitter Thursday night that the CIA is trying to take out President-elect Donald Trump before he is sworn in as president next Friday, January 20. Schindler has long accused Trump of being a Russian stooge.
Schindler’s bio for his Observer column reads, “John Schindler is a security expert and former National Security Agency analyst and counterintelligence officer. A specialist in espionage and terrorism, he’s also been a Navy officer and a War College professor. He’s published four books and is on Twitter at @20committee.”
Schindler made his comment about the CIA in reaction to a report by Washington Post columnist David Ignatius that an Obama administration offical told him Trump’s national security adviser retired Lt. General Michael Flynn made several calls to Russia’s U.S. ambassador the day last month that President Barack Obama imposed sanctions on Russia for allegedly interfering in the presidential election to benefit Trump.

Ignatius reported in a column published Thursday night about questions he has regarding Russia, Trump and the election:
Question 3: What discussions has the Trump team had with Russian officials about future relations? Trump said Wednesday that his relationship with President Vladimir Putin is “an asset, not a liability.” Fair enough, but until he’s president, Trump needs to let Obama manage U.S.-Russia policy.
Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Trump’s choice for national security adviser, cultivates close Russian contacts. He has appeared on Russia Today, and received a paid speaking fee from the cable network, which was described in last week’s unclassified intelligence briefing on Russian hacking as “the Kremlin’s principal international propaganda outlet.”
According to a senior U.S. government official, Flynn phoned Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak several times on Dec. 29, the day the Obama administration announced the expulsion of 35 Russian officials and other measures in retaliation for the hacking. What did Flynn say, and did it undercut the U.S. sanctions? The Logan Act (though never enforced) bars U.S. citizens from correspondence intending to influence a foreign government about “disputes” with the United States. Was its spirit violated? The Trump campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
If the Trump team’s contacts helped discourage the Russians from a counter-retaliation, maybe that’s a good thing. But we ought to know the facts.”
Schindler makes the point about monitoring phone calls being the job of the intelligence community and that the leak of alleged phone calls from Flynn to the Russian ambassador would have come from the office of the Director of the CIA John Brennan (aka the seventh floor at Langley–CIA headquarters located in Northern Virginia).
Schindler concludes that the CIA is trying to take out “traitor” Trump “now.”

On the today show they asked Conway if anyone on the Trump team had any contact whatsoever with the Russians. I thought it was an odd question, but this is probably why. Its the latest media/DNC coordinated attack. The election is still going on.....

The affair stinks and is confusing by design. The confusion is to mislead the sheeple who can’t or won’t sort it out. The confusion has the other intent to spread doubt and fear. The religion of the left is greed and fear. If greed does not work to satisfy the sheeple then plant the seeds of fear. Spreading fear is what they are doing now. The appeal to greed and give aways are weakening their grip.
No, I don’t think the smell comes from Trump. All that I see him doing in his communication and relations with Russia is the posturing of business and negotiation.
I believe any Trump communication with Putin right now is to try to keep us from being drug into a stupid war. Putin knows this as well and he does not want war. He understands provocaiton vs. threat. Thank God.
I do not believe any of us on the right can possibly imagine the lengths to which the left and the barky regime will go to maintain their grip on the sheeple.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald told Fox News Thursday that there is “obvious open warfare” between the intelligence community and President-elect Donald Trump, with Democrats “openly calling for and cheering for the intervention of the CIA.”
Greenwald spoke to “Tucker Carlson Tonight” regarding reports that Trump and President Barack Obama had been briefed about unverified allegations that Russian spies had collected compromising personal and financial information about the president-elect.
A dossier containing the most salacious allegations was published by BuzzFeed earlier this week.
Greenwald said Democrats and liberals are “hoping ... that this unelected faction in Washington will undermine and subvert and destroy the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s presidency before he’s even inaugurated and I think what you’re seeing is actually quite dangerous.”

Late reply, but Schindler is not from The Left. He used to be a Trump supporter and #NeverHillary as late as last June at least. He later became both #NeverHillary and #NeverTrump.
