So what the author is saying is that the guans and tinamous are being “driven out of the area” because evil humans are
bringing chicken & pigs into their habitat. What a load of crap.
I would think that the guans and tinamous would welcome the intrusion and increase their population ten-fold. How many times would it take having the blood sucked out of your neck before you said to yourself “It’s time to move”?
Bats are cute truth be told but have a bad rep.....
