Obama administration scraps 'wet foot, dry foot' policy for Cubans

The Obama administration is ending the "wet foot, dry foot" policy that granted residency to Cubans who arrived in the United States without visas.

That's according to a senior administration official, who said the policy change was effective immediately.

Except Mexicans. They’re okay because they always vote Democrat even before they get citizenship.

Clinton was right to send Elian to live with his father

Since the Clinton administration had to violate federal law and a lawful custody order in order to do that, I'd say it most definitely was not right. It was the triumph of tyranny over due process of law, i.e. "Might makes right". The whole affair soured me on the episcopal council of churches forever.
