The Real Reason for the Left’s All-Out Assault on Jeff Sessions
Daily Signal ^ | January 11, 2017 | J. Christian Adams

Posted on 01/12/2017 7:31:18 AM PST by detective

Observers of this week’s confirmation hearings for the post of U.S. attorney general might think it odd to see Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., rewind the clock to a single voter fraud case from the 1980s.

Under persistent questioning, Sessions has had to defend his decision to prosecute a case of brazen voter fraud—something that was his job to do.

The repeated references to this case by some senators represent just how far the civil rights industry has swerved from its honorable roots to derail a confirmation.

Character assassination, false testimony, performance protests aimed at securing retweets instead of reconciliation, and more have all been trained on the Alabama senator.

The GOPe right is no more in favor of personal freedom and liberty than the DNC left.

Article nails it. The Democrats fear that Sessions would prosecute illegal voting.

The GOPe and the Hillary/Obama wing of the Rat party combine to form the uniparty. The uniparty is globalist, and wants to erase borders, bringing the world under the control of a few multinational corporation and a single UN based governmental entity.

Ryan, Romney, McCain, Graham, Rubio, McConnell, are in the uniparty. On the press side, Bill Krystal, George Will, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, and several others revealed themselves as members of the uniparty when they tried to get Clinton elected by destroying Trump prior to the election. Just the Supreme Court appointments would have been enough to fight for anyone but Clinton.

I've also been thinking for a while, could you imagine how screwed we would have been if McCain or Romney had gotten elected? They would have screwed things up as bad as Obama, and it would be on the Republican door step.

To put it another way it’s freedom vs. tyranny.

Freedom always has and always will be under attack by the tyrants who want power over you and your money.

To the extant the Right is about freedom, limited government and the Constitution (which legally protects individual freedom), it is Right vs. Left.

What it is REALLY all about is the spirit of Christ (that mainly abides in the Right) vs. the spirit of antichrist which is permanently lodged in the Left. The closer we get to the End, the clearer that distinction will become.

the civil rights industry has swerved from its honorable roots

To the extent the "civil rights industry" has mandated federal interference in individual choice ("discrimination"), the civil rights industry is FAR from honorable.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 is patently unconstitutional. The Constitution gives the feds NO authority over individual choice ("discrimination"). Individual choice is a states' issue subject to the people and representatives of that state.

To the extent the "civil rights movement" pushes for unconstitutional federal interference in individuals' lives, it is a corrupt movement, which can be seen in the results.

NULLIFY/REPEAL THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964!

I don’t consider the GOPe on the right. Nor do I consider most of the RNC on the right. Just as you say the issue is that of individual freedom vs. tyranny, so the fight for freedom is on an individual basis that seems to escape a particular organizational label.

All I know is those of us who love freedom and limited government must fight the good fight of faith and freedom trusting God is with us. God and a few of us are a majority.

Yes, the true paradigm is whether the fed gov is in charge or the individual through agreement of state rights.

We must find out who the GOPers who are really Democrats. They must be removed by normal electral process or be convinced to quit which they will not do because the perks of position are too high and numerous.

It is time for term limits, forcing all Dems and Repugs to live on local insurance or what ever and get SS.

IF we did that they might change their hoity toity ways and remember where they came from, that is, among us.

The GOPe right

Yeah, except the GOPe is NOT on the right.

RATs and RINOs are the same thing.

In a weird, almost ironic way, the election of Hussein created Trump. As you say, what if Romney had won? Would the counter-reaction be as strong to propel a nationalist like Trump?

No, I think in the final analysis, the country had to take its medicine, as bitter as it was. Citizens needed to have such a strong revulsion to Obama/Hillary (and revelations of uni-party globalists) in order to wake up and save itself.

All in all, truly an incredible time to be witnessing.

Yup. Obama woke us u[, at least some of us. That is Obama’s ONLY legacy IMO- he woke freedom-loving American’s up and got them really angry.

Obama unwittingly launched the Anti-Establishment Movement.

Let’s hope it goes much further than simply electing a guy named Trump for 4-8 years.

Don't know who the Pinkster is on the left, but the one in the center is Desiree Anita Ali-Fairooz, the same nasty piece of work who protested Condoleezza Rice in the House chambers in 2007 (see below). The little shrimpy one with the stringy blond hair on the right is Medea Benjamin, founder of Code Pink and experienced shake-down artist.

Supposedly, Al Farooz was barred from Capitol Hill after she pulled that stunt on Condi Rice, although I don't know for how long. If the order is still in place, maybe that's why she has dyed her hair.
