Why are they so set at trying to get into a hot war with Russia? The only thing I can think is that they [Obama/Clinton, possibly a few Senators, too] want a hot war to cover up some underhanded deals that could prove more embarrassing or cause legal jeopardy [for Obama/Clinton, possibly a few Senators, too].

I believe it is because Russia has been settling oil contracts in Yuan and Euros. This threatens the status of the US dollar as the world reserve currency. Search “petrodollar” on this forum for an enlightening read.
