Republicans have said that the process of repealing Obamacare could take months, while developing a replacement plan could take far longer...

It doesn't have to take months. Last year the Republicans passed and sent to Obama a bill that ended the individual mandate and eliminated funds for the consumer subsidies and Medicaid expansion. Do that again - same bill, no need for committee hearings - and Obamacare is basically dead because it doesn't have any way to pay for it. That should not take months. Do not delay the date it goes into effect; the bill passed last year had no delay. And if they want to use the same bill they used last year, that one included a defunding of Planned Parenthood so we would have icing on the cake. The House and Senate could do that on January 20th. And they could repeal the bits and pieces left of Obamacare at their leisure.

But they knew it wouldn't pass, I doubt it will make it into a bill that will pass because these show votes are for the rubes that believe they actually oppose abortion.
