Don't you think you're using "intervention" in an equivocal manner, when US "intervention" consisted of NGO's (some government supported) pushing for democratic reforms in Ukraine, while Russian "intervention" consisted of invasion by Russia's armed forces?

I still can't understand the bromance with Putin on FR: I detest Obama as much as anyone here, but not so much that I will embrace my country's enemies (especially Mordor on the Moskva) simply to oppose Obama.

Ok, I am using intervention equally. But did Putin’s “invasion” cause a regime change? And also consider the distance from the US to Ukraine.

I’m not sure about a bromance, but I do have a non-intervention perspective.
