As a good example of Pacific Northwest microclimates, Portland got slammed with over a foot of snow, with the snow tapering off as it moved north to Olympia. Seattle and Tacoma didn't get anything, and up here by the Canadian border, it's clear and very cold.

The month long cold snap is scheduled to break by the weekend. The return of warm rain will be welcome. I've been snuggling up to my body pillow at night and turning up the heat.

Have you reached the point of counting down the hours and minutes before your warm-up arrives? LOL
A month-long cold snap gets old mighty quickly. BRRR!

We enjoyed 64 degrees this afternoon but it was a chore to leave the house to do the grocery shopping. Almost couldn’t open the door because the wind was trying to hold it shut. It’s really been whipping the past two days.
