Some person &/or persons has/have (for months) been making dupes of certain elements in the U.S. intelligence community, many media venues, some U.S. Senators, and, by dissemination by all of the above to the public, made dupes of those in the public badly wanting to believe the worst.
Somehow I don’t think it is/was the Russians. It seems more like the U.S. permanent deep state within the circle of its former and current members.
