Bill Nye took to Twitter to blame man-made global warming for flooding across Northern California that claimed at least three lives over the weekend.
Nye, who rarely misses a chance to link extreme weather to human activities, suggested Californias flooding meant wed be better off not pulling out of the United Nations Paris agreement to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
President-elect Donald Trump promised to cancel the Paris agreement the Obama administration signed in 2016. The Senate never voted on the agreement.

Just because Nye is an idiot is no reason to denigrate Engineers. Many of whom are qualified to speak on climate issues.
Early in 1862, extreme storms riding the Pineapple Express[2][3] battered the west coast for 45 days. In addition to a sudden snow melt, some places received an estimated 8.5 feet of rain,[3] leading to the worst flooding in recorded history of California, Oregon, and Nevada, known as the Great Flood of 1862. Both the Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys flooded, and there was extensive flooding and mudslides throughout the region.[4]
sadly, it will remain a drought as the state has redefined "drought" as "not enough reservoir capacity to meet the requirements of an increasing population". The feebleminded worshippers of bureaucracy will never admit they pray to a false god.
Bill Nye the Speshul gye
The mediots have been keeping very quiet about the Polar Vortex which hit the Med and snow on the beaches:

3 days ago - Icy temperatures across southern and eastern Europe have left more than 20 people dead and blanketed the Greek islands and southern Italy.
Record cold in many areas.
Two years ago, Nye probably blamed the California droughts on global warming.
Ok Madam Weather how about NOT giving Cali any rain for the next 10 years to appease Bill?
My kid just started an engineering job at an outfit that is literally studying the sun and has been for decades.
His boss think AGW is a complete joke.
These are actual solar scientists and engineers who actually know what they are talking about.
Bill Nye is a lunatic who just likes to listen to himself speak. I’m sure the drought was also caused by AGW.
Scientifically, if the problem was caused by an effect, the solution cannot be driven by the same effect.
Or maybe its his stint as SpeedWalker or appearance in a porno-film late mid 80s - yeah I think I recall that correctly now I've got to go look it up and see if its true - buzzfeed method, both would confer bona fides upon him.
Sad
You’ve gotta love this global warming bullshit; the recent droughts in California were the result of global warming and now the rain is the result of global warming. In the tiny little dysfunctional minds of the left and the Eco-Nazis, EVERYTHING is the result of global warming!
Bill Nye will stop chirping “Global Warming” when a new Ice Age glacier grinds him to dust!
Yawn. Next week he’ll start blaming it all on Trump.
Wait a minute, I thought it was to blame for the drought. Which is it, does Global Warming create drought or too much water?
Yup. He did. Was driving through the Santa Cruz mountains when I heard him say it on (of course) NPR.
Almost ran off the road laughing.
Same road is bad messed up today because of....too much rain last night.
I think he was a decent enough engineer...developed some landing gear stuff for Boeing. But he also developed training films for them - which probably gave him the tv ‘bug’. I don’t blame him for taking the more exciting path.
However, I’m a licensed engineer myself...and I guarantee his engineering pedigree gives him zero specialized knowledge about the planet’s climate.
He’s just a celebrity know nothing like the others.
LOL!
I, hereby and agree, Bill Nye, #FakeScience Guy
Or record cold temperatures in Texas.
Holy f’ing crap, what a stooge. No dummy, it’s called El Nino, a weather pattern that the Spanish missionaries observed and named hundreds of years ago. This is actually a regular occurrence here between periods of drought.
I earned an MSEE at University of Tennessee...I’m no climate scientist either...
