There are what can best be termed “Americanisms,” which are words unique to American usage of the English language, scattered throughout this so-called dossier. Odd, purportedly coming from an Englishman as it is, don’t you think?
4chan has archived posts about anon poster MONTHS ago bragging about sending out this story he called his “fanfic” to various outlets and people in the media to see if they’d bite. WSJ probably still believing what whoever fell for this told them. lol

The whole thing. It was fiction on 4chan. It was turned into a ‘dossier’ and sent to Rick Warren (a never Trumper).
Rick got it to McCain who got it to the FBI/CIA. They (possibly) leaked it to the media. It’s been circulating for quite some time now (months).
But CNN opened the door - right before the presser today - by saying that Obama and Trump had been briefed about it.
So that signaled Buzzfeed to publish it with some b.s. “we can’t verify any of this” disclaimer.”
Now the WSJ is being exposed as well as it was some 4chan troll that wrote it, not this guy.
At least, we will find out soon if the troll goes public.

That is a very obvious observation by someone who is used to looking at that kind of thing, I might not have picked up on that myself.
I always loved the stories about spies who gave themselves away by some kind of obscure thing like the style of their shoes, some verbal idiom, or something like that.
