"During his campaign, Trump pledged to deport all 11-plus million immigrants living in the country illegally and abolish DACA."

Best answer ever: Self-Deporting. Trump can removed the others after the 20th.
Good, get ahead of the rush.
We need to make it known to illegal aliens that if we have to deport them the law is they will be barred from applying for proper entry for 8 years.
If they leave they can get in line to apply like they should have in the first place.
They are traveling to Mexico and returning to the U.S. before Trump becomes president.
Self deportation will happen with 50% or more of the illegals. Once they see people arrested and getting jail time, that’ll go up to 90%.
Arrange for a room while you're there, sweetheart - you'll be back there soon, and you'll need a place to stay while you wait out the admission process of legal immigration or visa.
Just don't overstay that visa or you'll be back AGAIN.
We must hold Trump’s feet to the fire on this promise.

Absolutely.
We must not be satisfied with deporting only those convicted of crimes here.
ALL illegal aliens MUST commit myriad crimes to further their illegal presence, from document fraud and stealing benefits to illegal employment.
We should not wait until they drive drunk and kill Americans before we deport them.
Just because they have not been caught and convicted of anything yet is no reason not to deport them.
They are illegal aliens, deport them all.
If we come get you, you leave with only the shirt on your back. Go voluntarily and your assets can come too.
I'm hoping that the chef, cook, help wanted signs I'm seeing in city neighborhood restaurants are really indicative of what I think.
Step 1. Build the wall. Physical or Electronic, doesn't matter. So long as it keeps out the people it's supposed to keep out.
Step 2. Cut off Welfare Benefits and stop the practice of Sanctuary Cities. Enforce employment laws already on the books.
Step 3. Loudly and Publicly, send home the first few people that are caught in Steps 1+2.
Most of the rest will self-deport. What's left will be a problem of a magnitude we can deal with.
I'm curious to see what a country without 20-odd million illegals in it will look like. What I really wondering about is how all the hidden costs will shake out. The drain, for instance, on Welfare, Hospitals, Schools, Law Enforcement, and so on, is enormous. Lots of local governments and public organizations will get an unexpected surplus of cash, I'd think.
On a personal level, I'd imagine that wages will necessarily go up. Heck, just a cutback in the billions we spend on insurance for uninsured motorists, will be substantial, I'd think.
Which is why Amnesty is an abomination.
Most of them will have to be absolved of a litany of crimes, not just illegal entry. Tax evasion being a big one.
Why would we do that for foreign nationals when we don't do it for our own people?
....have temporary legal status thanks to a 2012 program created by President Obama, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, more commonly known as DACA. Under a little-known provision of the law, these DACAmented individuals as they call themselves can get the U.S. governments permission to travel abroad and return. A huge added bonus: The legal re-entry into the U.S. can boost the chance to win permanent legal status.
THIS NEEDS TO BE REPEALED ASAP.
The elites will either learn to mow their own lawns and change nappies or start paying non slave labor rates.
“Self deportation will happen with 50% or more of the illegals. Once they see people arrested and getting jail time, thatll go up to 90%.”
Taking them off all forms of welfare will make a huge percentage self-deport right away. Enforcing the laws where they are working will send another huge percentage home. The IRS can also get involved by sending agents to investigate all the false SS numbers employers are paying SS payments to.
There’s a huge drain on the infrastructure. Think of all the cars on the roads, schools that have to be built and houses that have to be built. Sure, it’ll be tough on the service, construction and general labor jobs for a while but that will be offset by the benefits.
I can’t think of a downside except they will default on their taxpayer provided student loans.
I crack up every time I see the #fakenews “media” spew that “11 million” illegal aliens number from the 1970s. The “media” is clueless.
As will prices for a while, to cover the increased wages and reduction in consumption. But the savings of public money will make it worthwhile. Even better would be a shift to the FairTax or something similar.
Also:
“What began as an experiment with two Cal State Long Beach students has grown to trips with as many as 35. In all, hes taken 107 young to visit their homeland.”
Shows where their loyalties are, even the ones that were brought very young, as one young women who is illegally taken the place of a legitimate US student.
What takes the cake for me, is that they think coming here was not good for their parents and their families. Talk about ingrates.
“Even though I was raised in Los Angeles, I feel like theres a lot thats been missing, said Salinas, who arrived at the airport with two suitcases and carry-ons. I want to see where I lived and compare the difference it has made in my life and (consider) the sacrifices my parents made.
They are merely taking advantage of our own laws, for their own benefit. That’s smart, not evil. We need to find a way to vet them; some are keepers and would make fine fellow citizens. Others should be returned posthaste to their points of origin, never to return.
