Persistent and reliable rumors abound that this “road show” for the State of the State is driven by fear that no one will attend if delivered in Albany as traditionally done. The legislators are furious that he won’t sign on to their pay raises effectively pushing their chances for such down the road for two more years. There is also a growing consensus that the budget will be very late with some forecasting August for completion. That should “help” with his popularity in the Empire State - NOT.....
