I was a loyal LL Bean customer until a few years ago when more and more and more of their goods were made in China / elsewhere and the quality suffered greatly . 10 years ago one could still buy a winter flannel shirt made in Canada - no more . USA ? Forget it .

I get it, me too - you know I bought a replacement for my FORTY YEAR OLD Sorel shoe pacs, which were getting a little worse for wear - and they fell apart in six weeks. Sorels are no longer made in Canada, but in China.
NEVERTHELESS. This is a probing action by your and my enemies to intimidate Mainers who live in CD 2 and who gave their EV to Trump. It’s VERY important for this not to work.
If LL Bean suffers because of the boycott, they will join other corporate enemies of the people to enforce Cultural Marxism. If they don’t suffer, or if their sales rise, they probably won’t.
I just got a pair of Guide boots for Christmas, they’re pretty nice. Go ahead, buy something. Just for a few weeks.

Same here. We left them for the same reason...too much imported cheaply-made Chinese crap.
Have conservatives become so desperate for friends that when we find a company, an actor, politician or entertainer that doesn’t outright hate us that we feel like we have to run over and give them our money?
I wonder how much money was donated to the Dems/libs (collectively) by LL Bean CEO’s and employees?
Linda Bean seems to mess up everything she touches. She practically owns St. George peninsula (Maine) where I vacation - to watch her restaurants serve up bad food, her little grocery stores (once so full and diverse)turn into half-empty storefronts only selling her products...yuck. I’m not surprised about the China charge.
I, too, have made that observation. The majority of item now say “imported”.
But you wouldn’t know it by their prices
