The FBI was lying yesterday, and today.
And it’s going to lie again tomorrow.
This is what our government does, and that is all our government does.
I tend to believe that the higher ups in the FBI are ignorant, are political hacks with little or no experience as real FBI agents, and therefore misstate the elements of a case that a real FBI agent would not say. But the higher ups are the ones with the media connections, and therefore misstatements are spread throughout the news media. And, of course the Media are even worse about getting facts straight.
