The Russians regard Hillary, correctly, as mentally unstable, malicious and grandiose. Russia feared a hot war with NATO if she was CinC. Look at the slaughter and mayhem she created simply as POTUS. She is a warmonger on a par with McCain or Graham.
Russia has not recovered from 70 years of Communism. They really do not want a war right now. Especially when it would of necessity for them go nuclear given the disparity in conventional abilities and logistics.
That said, Russia did not “hack the election’, a phrase which has not even been defined.
