Here is an Op-Ed from the Washington Post from Harry Truman who created the CIA. It was published 4 weeks after the death of JFK.
Read it and tell me he didn’t believe they were behind it.

Just because he thought it, doesn’t make it so. Harry wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.

The only thing that made JFK’s death a national tragedy was that LBJ succeeded him. Eight years of JFK, and we would probably have lost the Cold War.
