I don't think this is necessarily good. Woolsey was a sincere guy but not very effective. Nevertheless, he serves to remind the enthusiasts that while politicized and in need of cleansing, the IC is not our enemy.

Dan Coats is not the solution.
Rather, he smacks of sellout to the GOPe and the Schumer/intelligence threats.
But Woolsey likely a good part of the swamp to be draining too.
